Missions at Marshall United Methodist Church
Midwest Mission Distribution Center Trip
Join us on Wednesday, November 16 through Sunday, November 20 for a missions trip to MMDC in Chatham, Illinois. Our team will be working at the Midwest
warehouse on emergency relief supplies. All levels of abilities are invited to come and volunteer at this very, worthwhile ministry. Team members will help sort,
count and assemble supplies to needy locations in the U.S. and 3rd World countries. Other jobs, such as landscaping, mowing, sewing, maintenance and woodworking are
available as well.
The cost for the missions trip is very reasonable. The team will be cooking their own meals and staying in a comfortable dorm setting. Some enjoyable sightseeing
around Springfield will be done towards the end of the week.
Please, see Dee Russell or Jackie Baker if you have questions or are interested in going. You may sign up for the trip, by marking the Opportunity Sheet in the
bulletin or by contacting dee@graincoffeehouse.com.
*This year people can pick up a box in the Great Room hallway for donations to be taken to Midwest. Each box is labeled with a list of needed
items. People may choose to fill a box with Health kit items, Flood buckets items, School bag items or Layette items. All donations should be brought to the Church
by Sunday, November 6.
